CROSS//COUNTRY: A Multimedia Event

Laughing Mouse Press, The Denver Zine Library, and 116 MacDougal in New York present a multimedia event that spans the continent! Streaming live from the 303 to the 212, poetry, artifacts, films, images, fiction, and sounds will combine to make a unique transcontinental event. This reading features LMP Artists Spencer Keralis, Mariette Papic, and Tim Davids, with images remixed by Tia Dunn/Lampgirl. In Denver we’ll be MC’d by the DZL’s own kelly shortandqueer and the Damn Gurl DJs will be spinning the after party!

Join us in person at the DZL (27 Social Centre, 2727 W 27th Ave in Denver, CO) and 116 (116 MacDougal, New York, NY) – or ONLINE! (URLs tbd).
At the DZL, Tim will be showing a film and reading from his written work, and Spencer will read from his book and show projections of Mariette’s photography. In New York, Mariette will be reading with projections remixed by Lampgirl. We’ll be livestreaming both events – so we’ll have the Denver event projected in NY, and the NY happening projected here.The local event will be at the Denver Zine Library, and the New York event will be at 116 McDougal, a new rock ‘n cocktail lounge in the Village. Starts at 6:30 in Denver/8:30 in NY.
